Cars and Coffee Irvine | June 14, 2014
Ridiculously last minute decision to go see the car in person as I found out the night before that they were to bring the car out to Cars and Coffee so of course I had to see this thing as it was it’s first public debut outside of an auto show. I managed to fit this only event into my schedule as it was early enough to capture and then be on my way for the rest of my day for my prior commitments.
To explain a little bit of background, this concept was design by Calty Design Research Inc. in Newport Beach and built by Five Axis in Huntington Beach. This car was built to be the Supra’s possible successor as there hasn’t been a RWD Inline 6 or greater vehicle in Toyota’s line up in quite some time.
*Disclaimer – Concept vehicles are generally built for show only and to be moved around via electric motors. There is no petrol motor in this concept car and it is NOT a hybrid. Again, this is a CONCEPT vehicle.
